These notes are jotted down by mummy & daddy to record the growing up journeys of their wonder kiddos - Wenzel, Denzel and Xenzel. Time passes by so quickly each day that we are afraid to miss out some important details of them. Every moment spent with them creates a new set of memory to be treasured forever...

The Foot Book
My foot, your foot, his foot, her foot, long foot, short foot, big foot, small foot, tricky foot, furly foot and blah blah blah is what I heard in my lesson today.
Needless to mention, teacher sheila told us the story on FOOT called The Foot Book by Dr Seuss today.
The lesson started off with only 3 students - Isabelle, Crystal and me cos the rest were caught in the heavy rain. Wah all girls leh, maybe gals more punctual loh. Justin joined in the mid of story-telling.
Nicholas came just in time for craft. Wow, we did a caterpillar hand puppet during craft time. There we learnt about this creepy fella has many legs. First we drew the legs, followed by painting the body green. How can we miss out the eyes??? We pasted the eyes on it so tat it can see, then stick the mouth to it so tat it can eat. The mouth piece has got my name written on it, so does tat mean I was being eaten??? :)
How does my caterpillar look?? Mummy said look more like a snake....Ssss!! (If it look more like a snake, then must be mummy's skill no good loh, wahahaha :p)
After yummy snack time was some drawing activity. We were told to trace our foot on paper and color it. I have got green and blue feet. Look at my masterpiece!! You must be wondering why didn't I have my toes trace on it??? I was wearing socks mah, kekekeke.....This is the best I can do right now, me think I'll get better in coloring if I practice more :)
It was some mix n match game after foot-tracing. This time round also involved foot. The game requires us to pick the pool of feet in the center and match with the correct location. If u pick a duck foot then must match with the duck foot corner.
Below are some pics taken before start of lesson:
What did I learn in this holiday program??? *pondering*
1) Good sitting during story-telling time (which I did for the most 5 minutes, hmm....I noe, I still got lotsa room for improvement on this area)
2) Interesting craft lesson (which I had already done very well with 95% participation)
3) Good sitting for snack time (which I was doing extremely well. I dun eat much though but was showing improvement in self-feeding during and after lessons at home)
4) Listening to instructions (Not bad I think, I was doing well on the area whereby when I was told to return back the items given compared to lessons at Kindyroo)
5) Awareness of new words (more and more vocab starts to make sense to me and I can pronouce them well now)
6) Good sharing among peers (well, can see some improvement gradually compared to day 1 there)
Day 1 - will push and beat whoever got in my way (but the teacher said is alright cos action comes 1st before words as I still couldn't fully express myself. This problem will go off eventually after I know how to communicate fully (*mummy is hoping for this day to come*)
Day 2 - got in a small snatching with Nicholas kor kor (he box me, I box him back loh)
Day 3 - was rather well-behaved and got beaten by Nicholas kor kor out of no reason and surprisingly I dun cry nor retalliate (mummy said I met my match finally, she's hoping I will change after having the taste of being beaten)
Day 4 - true enuf, I dun beat people anymore
Day 5 - i went round hugging my classmates cos we will do a big hug with teacher sheila after every lesson and my classmates were all taken aback by my action, even mummy oso loh. Why?? I cannot be a lovely angel meh???? :)
Mummy is very pleased with this program as she feels that the idea of having 'live' music is better compared to having play music using cd player. Sheila will play the tunes on her keyboard as per situation. Everyday sequence is different. She noes what kind of music to play to gain our attention back especially if the class is becoming more cranky and noiser.
Most importantly, mummy still couldn't understand why I got sooo tired everytime after lesson. I'll doze off halfway thru our journey home without fail and my nap time can last for 2-3hrs. Lazy bum, no wonder mummy says good lah, hmph.... :).

Ten Apples Up On Top
Ten apples up on top???? We shouldn't be playing with food, isn't it??? Mummy has been teaching me this all these while and now the book is saying we can carry 10 apples on our head!! Ah ma and mummy pls dun scold me if u see me with my 'every morning must-eat apple' on my head next time hor. :)
Well, this "Ten Apples Up On Top" is another great story by Dr Seuss. There were 2 books in the classroom, one by Dr. Seuss and another by Theo, LeSieg. Hmm....actually was written by the same person. Seuss is a pen name, likewise for Theo, Lesieg. The person who wrote all these interesting stories is Theodor Seuss Geisel. Seuss was actually his mother's maiden name and the "Dr." in his pen name is an acknowledgment of his father's unfulfilled hopes that Seuss would earn a doctorate at Oxford. What about Theo, LeSieg??? LeSieg is actually the backwards spelling for Geisel. Okay, enuf for the explanation, juz in case some might think there are 2 authors for this story. :p
Being the first few to reach the school, I got plenty of time to explore all I want there. Teacher Sheila placed some chalks for us to draw instead of the markers. I was still a blunder....draw on the carpet instead of the black paper. Btw, you wun be seeing more photos cos the management disallow photo-taking during lesson time. I think must be some 'secrecy act' lah. In tat case oso good loh, cos my dear mummy then can pay 100% attention on me mah, kekekeke :)
The lesson started off by telling story. First goes the dog with 10 apples, followed by the lion with 10 apples and the tiger with 10 apples..........then every animal with 10 apples in the end. I only pay attention to the first few minutes as usual, after which I was there roaming about liao.
I think the purpose of this story is to learn counting as the story goes 1 apple, 2 apples, 3 apples and so on.......We were given one green apple and 1 red apple to see, feel and smell. I was simply not interested cos ah ma always give me cold apple whenever my gums are itchy, to trick me during mealtimes and as my snack so apple can't really capture my attention. This must be the reason for today's unattentiveness loh.
After the exploration of apples, we went off doing our craft. This time round was to paint the dog with our finger. We were told to do spots for the doggie. Mummy held my tiny index finger and dipped into the brown paint, then dot onto the doggie's body, ears, paws, tail etc... The final bit was to paste the whiskers onto the doggie's mouth. Today's craft is simple. I finished it in split seconds. :)
Everybody was busy cleaning their hands including the mummies, maids, grandma and sisters who came in for the lesson after the craft time. Guess something big must be coming right up!!!
Oh it was snack time. We got to prepare 'APPLE SALAD' for snack. Hmm....yummy!!! Each of us was given a plastic knife, plate and some apples to cut. There I was cutting the apples with the kpo of mummy. After cutting, everyone poured in their cut apple and teacher Sheila placed some raisins in as well. I had the chance to squeeze some thousand island dressing with teacher Sheila holding onto the bottle then my fair share of stirring and mixing the salad in the big bowl. I din eat alot of the salad though but took some honey stars instead. It was really fun to
messget involved in the preparation of salad. I can help out for mummy's parties next time. :)
Another fun activity after snack was to gather apples outside the classroom and bring them back and stick on top of the dog, lion and tiger's heads to make ten apples on top of each head.
Later part of the activity was a little messy and noisy cos Louis kor-kor kept crying, followed by Aloysius kor-kor. 1 cried, 2 cried and not long after I oso cried. I told u before I couldn't see people cry mah, once I saw I'll follow too!! Today oso like tat, after seeing them cry I oso cry loh. But teacher was smart enuf to calm everyone down.
The lesson ended with singing my fave 'going to the park' song. Time flies, tmr will be my last lesson liao. Shall tell u more more more tmr ;)

My Many Colored Days!!!
Yippeee.....It was a colorful day cos teacher Sheila told us a colorful story by Dr Seuss today. It's named "My Many Colored Days". Inside was the green fish, yellow bees and many more colors .......
Just before lesson proper, there was 5 minutes for the children to settle down. There I was, taking my every opportunity to draw on the paper using markers cos these type of drawing was not allow at home as mummy afraid I might vandalise her precious walls ;)
What I did at home was merely scribbling onto my doodle board. There were times whereby I will use the doodle board pen to try drawing on the ground but there wasn't anything shown. Now tat I got my chance to draw-all-I-can, how can I miss it!! Mummy is actually feeling bad that she has deprived me of the freedom to draw at home. She making it up to me now at last. :)
Finally able to show the world wat I had drawn after 3 days of practice there cum abit of doodle board skills acquired during home practice!! I've drawn my fave as usual - a set of hands resembling Hi-5, hahaha :)
Mummy was busy wiping away the blue ink on my face tat was accidentally drawn earlier when teacher sang the welcome song. When it came to the part whereby my name was mentioned, everyone laughs at my blue face. So malu ah!!
Story telling was straight after the welcome song. Lotsa lotsa colors were introduced and teacher even drew a mini rainbow on everyone's hand. I was the first to be drawn. Wow, a pretty 4-colored rainbow on my right hand. So pretty till I dun allow my mummy to wash off when we reached home. :p
Soon after story, we did our 1st craft which was a Bee. I think it look kinda ugly cos mainly was done by my mummy. She's too protective over me getting messy with the yellow glue and glitter but I still got my whole hand sticky with the yellow glue in the end when I pasted the wings onto the bee's body.
It was snack time after craft time as usual and I was happily eating my riceball cereal given by teacher Sheila. I think this riceball cereal suits my liking and I even do a 'thumbs-up' hand sign after popping it into my mouth. How mummy wish I'll do the same thumbs-up for milk and water!!!! Fatt hope ba, wahahahaha.......
After snack was some working out before our 2nd craft time. Teacher Sheila took us thru a series of dancing, walking then slowly tip-toeing to another room to do our craft. This time round was a group work. As today lesson focus mainly on colors, we were allowed to get our hands dirty with many many different colors. We were supposed to dip our hands with different coloured paint and print onto the big big piece of paper with rainbow drawing. As it was a group work, we weren't allow to bring home our group masterpiece cos only one mah, not enuf to go around. Nvm lah, my bo liao mummy sure will work out to do something similar at home for me one lah!!! *SIGH*
It was some ribbons and scarfs time before wrapping up the lesson. All children were having a good time throwing the ribbon up and down. I enjoy the song on going to the park most as mummy will toss me up in the air as if taking the swing, the see-saw and the merry-go-round.

My other friends were playing happily too!! Some were
scribblingdrawing just like me, some were stacking up blocks, some were enjoying the throw-rings and none was sitting around except my lazy mummy. :p

Green Eggs and Ham
Strange strange, how can eggs be green??? Today's story is on "Green Eggs and Ham". This is another great story by Dr Seuss. Well, I couldn't sit still during story telling time as usual. Teacher Sheila has to tell me countless time to sit down but I juz failed to do so :)
Not only me, Nicholas kor-kor oso couldn't sit still. There were 2 new faces in the class namely Aloysius and Louis kor-kor. They are cousins but they were absent yesterday.
Despite of the new addition, I am still the youngest in the class. Though I may be the youngest, my action was not at all that young afterall cos I went round bully the kor-kors. Mummy was apologising non-stop for my garang-ness :p
What did I learn today??? As today story is on Eggs, teacher Sheila brought different types of eggs for us to see, feel and smell. After sufficient exposure on eggs, we were given the opportunity to explore different kind of vegetables followed by doing our craft. There was only one craft session for today lesson and we did the "My Book of Greens" making use of the vegetables introduced earlier. Needless to mention, this book is filled with greeny thingy.
Look at my masterpiece below!! I got in a mess after craft session. All my fingers, hand and clothing was stained with all those green paint tat was used to stamp vegetable print onto my 'book'. Luckily was able to wash away......
Teacher Sheila gave us some egg sandwich and animal biscuit as our snack. I didn't take the sandwich cos I dun like bread. What I did was to stuff those bread into my mummy's mouth loh. :)
After snack , we were each given a piece of laminated leaf and we were taken out of classroom to collect greeny stuff tat we could find outside. I collected green apple, broccoli and a green dinosaur.....Grrr
After which was music time. I got a fun time dancing and prancing while teacher Sheila was playing on her keyboard. The lesson ended with some bubble-blowing and I can tell u I lurve bubbles man!!

The Cat in a Hat
Today is my 1st day of Holiday Program at Zoo-phonics School. This program named "A Week with Dr. Seuss" will stretch over a period of 1 week, with each lesson lasting 1.5 hours.
Dr. Seuss is a famous American writer and cartoonist. He writes many many interesting stories. Today's activities revolve around one of Dr Seuss's story - The Cat in the Hat.
Not knowing what was going to happen, there I was brought to a place called Zoophonics. Well, they dun teach phonics or rather they are not a phonics school. They do provide phonemic awareness activities in their methodology, giving children an opportunity to learn to listen, to distinguish and differentiate, and play with various speech and letter sounds, even before seeing a letter. Okay, enuf of my brief introduction and get back to the lesson.
I was directed to go into the waiting room while the teacher get ready the room for lesson. There I got to play and interact with my classmates.
First 5 minutes was plainly for settling down and drawing about onto paper using baby-safe markers. As today's story is Cat in the Hat, we got to play with many different hats in the first few minutes too!! The lesson started off with teacher playing tunes on her keyboard and singing the welcome song, followed by some stimulating activites and flashing of their zoo-alphabet cards.
Then it was the incorporation of the story-telling time. After the story has ended, it was craft time. Look at my masterpiece!!! Does it look like the one on the book cover?? :)
Soon after doing this piece of my very own "Cat in the Hat", it was yummy snack time. I was given few pieces of animal biscuit and some cereal bites. I dun wanna drink water as usual which is making mummy worried. But I din take all the snacks given, I was busy feeding mummy those bites instead :)
After break time, it was the magical box moment, very much like those magic show u watch on TV whereby the magician pull out items from his hat. This magical moment also like tat one, but the difference was each student got a chance to pull out one item from the hat. I pulled out a fork.
Suddenly the teacher switched off the lights leaving some dim light on in the front for us to see the 'butterfly kites' made by other students. Then we got our chance to do our very own butterflies too!! Swee bo???

Darn...*SICK AGAIN*
I'm having flu flu and cough cough with a bit of phlegm detected by my dear DR CHIN yesterday night. This is the 2nd time I see him in November. The first was taking the booster jab 1 week ago, yesterday was to check on my cough and colds.
I was EXtremely cranky for the past days till now, maybe due to my sickness. I couldn't stop crying all days and the adults are at their wits end, not knowing what to do!!!
This cough n cold is sooo persistent, 'follow me' for 3 days still dun wanna go away. Bo bian, mummy brought me down let doctor examine examine a while. Well, the same old culprit who did this to me - some viral infection, nothing serious and should be recovering in 2-3 days time. Okay okay, I noe, have to guai guai take the red, yellow and black mixtures then will recover in 2 days time. If not, wait some more days ah!!! *SIGH*
Mummy is singing this everyday ever since I was sick:
Cough, cold, go away,
don't ever come back again!!! :)

KL Trip Updates
Mummy finally found time to update our latest trip adventure. Hmm.....tat slow tortoise!!! :p
As daddy and mummy wanted badly a break from their hectic worklife, they have decided to go for a getaway to Berjaya Times Square in KL. We only stayed 3 days 2 nites there since they couldn't go too far and stay too long especially with me around. I'll miss home if I was out for too long but this trip was truly fantastic. Everyone enjoys including ah ma and gong-gong. You wouldn't believe gong-gong is the 'champion' cos he spent the most there, almost RM1K buying tea leaves. Yes, gong-gong fave pastime - appreciating and drinking premium chinese tea.
Well, if u ask me whether I enjoy my stay there, u can get my answer from the below short video clip.
That's obvious, isn't it??? My answer is a definite YES, hahahaha :)
Day One - 02/11 Arrival
I was awoken by daddy really early that day, at around 5.45am. The adults was really farny, when I dun wanna sleep, they always force me to sleep, when I was koon-ing shiok shiok, they woke me up juz lidat. Not only I din wake up fully, 爹爹 oso can hardly open his eyes :)
This tour agency very good, even provide breakfast for all passengers at Singapore Discovery Center before setting off to the checkpoint at 2nd Link. Though juz some kaya bread and one half-boiled egg, it's the thot that counts mah. The morning view there was quite nice.
Mummy managed to take a few photos. Check it out.....
After all the customs clearing, I was enjoying the bus ride in the luxury coach until we reached Yong Peng, the most popular stopover.
Soon after I alighted, I got really cranky. Can't be blame lah cos super not enuf sleep mah.
Once we boarded the bus again, mummy quickly settled me in for sleep. Luckily I slept thru the whole journey after tat or else jialat ah. No one can handle my 'unstoppable super-duper bad behaviour'.
Checking in to the hotel was a breeze. We nua a while in the hotel before familiarising ourselves with the surrounding.
Cool man, each room is equipped with a vcd player so mummy can play my fave HI-5 vcds in it. Wow, inside Times Square building already got 9 storeys high of shopping.
Both KL Tower and Petronas Twin Tower are juz 1 km away from our hotel.
We went for lunch first followed by shopping.
This was when gong-gong found out there were 3 shops selling tea leaves and he chose to enter the biggest one.
He bought so much of it, some of which are limited edition. First shop already stucked inside for sooo long and spent sooo much $ liao. Still got 2 more shops of the same biz trade leh.
Daddy oso very happy cos there got quite a few shops selling manga, figurines, adult toys esp. his Gundams, Macross etc. and animes.
After resting, we took a cab to KL Chinatown at Petalling Street. We called it the 'Streets of Fakes' cos almost every stalls were selling the same stuffs - Branded Imitation Goods. We settled our dinner at some Chinese tze char stall there.
Dinner wasn't that fantastic but better than nothing to eat loh. We continued to shop around that area then took a cab back to hotel. Bargaining skills is highly recommended at Petalling Street, even during taking cab. *SIGH* Mummy bargained from RM15 to RM10 for the trip back. Cabby of course unhappy but biz is competitive so no choice loh. Our cabby still okay lah, daddy kena tat one bad service and attitude, din even send him back to hotel but let them alight at the opposite of it. Daddy n 爹爹 had to cross over the overhead bridge instead.
Daddy and mummysneaked went out for some quiet couple time while leaving me behind for ah ma to take care. Hmph.....heard tat they had yummy desserts around the corner nearby the hotel along makan streets. Buay steady.....they oso went racky racky and plan for tmr itinery.
Day Two - 03/11 Shopping, eating, sleeping....
I was super cooperative and woke up at 6am cos I can hear the 'eat-all-u-can buffet' calling me. hehehe :p
By 7am, I was already ready to go down n enjoy my breakfast.
I ended up waiting for daddy and 爹爹 cos they could hardly open their eyes. Hmm.....the 2 sleepy fellas!!
Well, I thot the earlier we are the lesser people vying for food at the buffet. It seemed more crowded in the earlier morning. I shan't come down so early tmr for breakfast then.
After makaning so much, of course need to work out and shed off some unwanted loads (at least this statement apply to my fat mummy, wahahaha)!!
I was having so much fun at the playground on the slide and the springy tortoise.
Daddy and 爹爹 had fun on the see-saw together too.
Not to mention I got a chance to take a dip in the children wading pool.
How can daddy resist to swimming??? The splishing and splashing of water was really enjoyable. The same cruel thing happened to me again, all due to daddy's negligence, hahaha... I fell into the water again with my whole head plunged into the pool.
I must have gulped down lotsa water too!! But still I wasn't afraid, I continued hitting the water until dun wanna come out from the pool as usual. In fact I was carried out by force and ended up crying out aloud. After washed up, ah ma carried me up to the room and let me watch my fave program. However, I was reported that I knocked out without watching, not even 1 min. I sat on the sofa dozing away. So malu Zzzzz :)
Mummy went for sauna and steam bath after her swim. She also convinced daddy to try and daddy likes it too. Mummy went up to chio ah ma go together. There she went for a 2nd round of it. Anyway FOC mah......tat cheapo fella, hahahaha.
I took 4 hours of nap all thanks to the swim. Mummy too, took her nap after the steam bath while daddy and 爹爹 went shopping around cos 爹爹 wanna go see look see look their IT mall. It was such a disappointment after going to their IT mall. 爹爹 said he was glad that luckily got Funan Centre and Sim Lim Square in Singapore. Their IT mall really cannot make it loh.
Before setting off to the complimentary indoor theme park, we went to take our lunch. The only unlucky encounter for this trip was unable to get into the theme park cos the agency has issued us expired tickets. What the????? The adults also dun wanna buy tickets cos the 2 old ones (ah ma and gong-gong) and the 2 young men (daddy and 爹爹) dun wanna take the thrilling rides, actual fact was they dun dare to take lah, thus leaving mummy alone to take roller coaster and stuff like tat. Ah ma said wanna accompany mummy but then mummy felt that ah ma is too old to take on the adventure lah. Nebermind mummy, next time I go with you when I grow up hor :)
Din go oso good lah, save the $$$ to buy me ice-cream. Yippeez......I was happily licking away....slip slurp slip slurp.....hmm......GREAT!!!
Day 2 was really full of shopping. We went Lot 10, Sungei Wang, the eating streets........all located within walking distance from our hotel. Dinner was delicious at one small restaurant serving taiwanese food. Their dishes were all sooo yummy to fill our famished stomachs after all the walking!! It was indeed worth queueing for. After which, we went makan desserts at the stall where mummy and daddy went on day 1 night. Well, at least they brought me there.
The night has ended juz like tat. All of us slept soundly including me, kekekeke!!
Day 3 - 04/11 Departure
We went for our morning breakfast like yesterday. This time round we din go down sooo early. True enuf the crowd wasn't tat much, not to the extend of queueing 15 mins for omelette and pratas. Yum yum.....Mummy kapo some plain porridge from the buffet spread to serve as my lunch later.
After makan, it was some sauna time and resting time in our rooms before checking out at noon. We went for some more last minute shopping before departing from KL while daddy went for a haircut. Gong-gong went to source for some more tea leaves at another shop. Hahaha, he had spent all the $$$ jiu-jiu gave him in the 2nd shop, thus he couldn't go shop in the 3rd one liao. He said he wanna come back next year leh.
3 days has passed so fast, our short trip has juz ended lidat. We took the luxury coach back. I slept thru the journey as usual until we reached Yong Peng. 2 hours more before reaching home. Tick tock tick tock....I was counting down. I was entertaining myself with the mini LCD TV fixed on each of the seats.
As I did not have any food intake since noon, I got really cranky once I was awake in the bus. I went on a 'hunger strike', gimme milk dun wanna drink and the porridge mummy kapo oso dun wanna eat. Maybe of the hunger, I threw up juz before getting down to the Msia custom. The funniest thing was I will look for ah ma whenever I wanna vomit. This time round oso lidat, I asked for ah ma to carry then started vomiting onto her top. As I dun have any food intake so whatever that came out was juz liquid. It kena gong-gong's pants too!! Mummy carried me over while going down the bus and some liquid came out from my mouth again. The front passengers were moving down too slowly, mummy couldn't help it liao and let me vomitted in the bus but kena onto one of the seats with two three pieces of kway teow dropped onto the floor carpet.
When I re-boarded the coach after custom clearing, I heard someone saying "dunno who brought kway teow soup up and eat until kena my seat??" Mummy asked me to walk quickly back to our seats when she overheard this. She couldn't stop laughing whenever she recall this statement. This has become a joke since then and they are using it to laugh at me until now. :)
