This year is my 3rd time celebrating this event. 1st time was still doing my confinement, for 2nd time, my gal had juz turned 1 and this time round she had juz turned 2. Nothing spectacular, nothing to be excited about. Guess Wenzel is still too 'young' to know the significant of this event.
Well, i'm not complaining, just wanna pen down my thot. I guess I will wait patiently for Wenzel to gimme the very 1st Mothers' Day gift years later. She need not has to spend lavishly on present, juz a simple hand-made card will be able to cheer me up and make my day. *grin :) while dreaming of it* This type of gift is priceless!!
However, we did had a fun time celebrating this event on that day. Everyone was happy dining away and indulging in the coffee cake. Hubby also had a great time showing FL and his nephew interesting stuffs from Utube. We even had durian in between the meal and I took plenty of it. Oops.....gotta watch my weight.
The food was great and the party was fun. Another event coming right up will be Fathers' Day. Hubby always think there are far too many occasions to celebrate and all these events are too commercialise. Whatever.......as long as there is great fun, count me in for that....Yay :p
