The Meaning of Wenzel

Got tagged by WokkingMum to write-up on the meaning of my child.

This tag is easy since naming the little gal is fully in control by us. As agreed with hubby, he will come up with the English name and I will come up with her Chinese name.

Hubby has a funny theory in naming his own children. He mentioned names MUST be given by parents than to let geomancy or any other means to influence and limit your choices. I have no preference for that as long as there isn't too much a trouble. However to think of a Chinese name isn't simple, thus I read up few books on number of strokes and zodiac compatibility characters then come up with her name as Bai Wan Qian. It simply means tactful and flexible cos we both want her to be able to equip in good EQ as this is something u r born with and not learnt.

Initially, hubby wanted to name our gal Renee. No reason in particular, just bcos he likes it. However, he changed it to Wenzel just 2 weeks before I gave birth to her. I went to check on the meaning and it says "Independent and home-loving" which sounds pretty good to me.

Naming is FUN. I have to crack my brain one more time.

So can i kaypoh and asked how the name of Shervon, GGbabes, Kylie, Malcom and Hiroshi n Sophia come about???
