Mini Celebration for Denz

According to the Hokkien tradition custom, there will be a grand celebration for baby turning 4 month old. Some will even choose this time to shave off a baby's hair. It is also the time where the old folks will let the baby choose 4 items on tray. Not only I dun believe such a thing, my in-laws also dun practice that so we didn't carry this out.

We juz had our usual mini immediate family makan session as what we did for Wenz the other time. Denz' Godpa did not attend cos his grandma has passed away not long.

Well, what did we have for makan this time round?? Instead of the usual auspicious food items like fried noodle, red eggs and blah blah, I requested my mum to cook something else.

We had Nasi Lemak for dinner with some of my fave dishes like Fried Petai with Tempeh, otah, some finger foods and not forgetting fried egg to go along with the rice. Wenz had a plate of it and even asked for more. This is her 1st time eating such food. In fact everyone enjoys the yummy-licious dinner that my mum had prepared.

After eating, ye-ye's 'hobby worms' is calling him so he asked me for paper and pen. Know what izit? Write 10 numbers for Denz to choose 4D number loh. This is his 1st time exposure to such a thing. Denz took extremely long time to pick 4 numbers. He seemed not interested at all but still managed to pick 4 numbers in the end. Hb and I usually dun go for such thing but since number already picked, we also chipped in. Shall see if we can strike rich or not tomorrow. Stay tune for it, hahaha! :)
