Is there a Male Cinderella?

Didi lost one side of his fave Barney sandal and the worst thing is nobody knows how it went missing. Ah ma told Wenz that didi's shoes was missing and 1st thing that she said was "Is it ye-ye lose it?".

Well, the last person seen handling it was ye-ye but that could not be the reason for losing or misplacing it. Ah ma's reasoning was could hv dropped on the way back when ye-ye pushed the pram but my assumption was didi could have thrown one side of the sandal out of the window since he oredi acquired the skill of climbing up the pram and glaze out of the window.

So shall wait for his princess to find his shoe then :)

I have bot a new pair of shoes for him as his X'mas present to replace the loss. My fave quote: 舊的不去, 新的不來! We have combed thru all areas and still no sign of it. No point dwelling on it le....

A Christmas-ty Surprise

I was jokingly asking HB for my Christmas present weeks back and HB mentioned Christmas is a day meant for kids so he said "No Present for ME this year". I rmb telling him "I'm a Big Kid mah" but he still said "NO". Seriously I dun mind and dun feel sad but still I'd get him a present cos to me I think Christmas is a day for giving. I secretly went out to buy his present to give him a surprise.

When I was back home, Wenz greeted me and told me she wanted the blue and red presents. I was puzzled as I didn't wrap any present with blue wrapper so in order not to stir up this lil' volcano Wenz, I entertained her by saying "OKAY". Later when I were having my dinner, she came to tell me again she wanna the blue and red presents. I said okay again. Wenz then went to switch on the lighting on the X'mas tree and happily humming some Christmas song.

When it was late night and about time for the kids to sleep, I went to the corner to switch off the lighting and I found this. Hmm...so this was the blue present Wenz had been talking abt all this while. HB juz happened to come out of the study room and I asked him "Whose present was that?" He said with a grin that it was "Somebody's present wor". Of course I knew it was mine. Hehe...I got a X'mas present too! What a pleasant surprise for me, couldn't wait till X'mas to open it up. Thanks Hummy! :)

冬至快樂

We celebrate 冬至 today and mum wake up earlier than usual to prepare 湯圓 for everyone. As both kids are still sleeping, I might as well pick up a skill or 2 from my mum on making this fave dessert well-loved by hb and me.

Wenz wake up while mum is halfway thru boiling the 湯圓. We let her experience the making of it and she loves doing it. Gong-gong patiently teaches her the step of rolling it.

Gathering with the babes

We were invited to Aunty QQ's house for a Christmas gathering. Both didi and I had a great time there playing with other kids. Talkative mummy also enjoyed herself chatting with her
friends. We were one of the few who reached there early....aunty Doris is a slowcoach as usual, kekeke :)

We played while indulging in yummy pizza that was ordered by aunty QQ. Didi was bullied strangled (look out for the photo) by aunty QQ's niece, Ezanne not long after we have reached. He cried for help after he couldn't breath and mummy went to his rescue. After which he stayed besides ah ma and guai guai sat on the sofa until after some warm up then he dared to mingle about. Actually I think Ezanne meimei likes and enjoys playing with children, juz that she dunno how to control her strength juz like me when didi was born. I'm a pro now after much scolding coaching and guiding. :p

We stayed till abt 2.30pm and left shortly after gift exchange. Thanks for the invitation and pizza. We love the goodies too. Aunty Cindy is so kind to prepare another goody pack for all kids and that will make 2 goody packs for me. Yippee!!! They are all Santas of the day, hohoho....

After which, we moved on to another gathering at temple and have another round of fun time where they were plenty of cakes and lollis...Yum yum..That made a happy day for the both of US....(",)

Going Recycle....

I have found a storeroom for myself. Hmm...ya it's jiejie's old potty. Mummy has been telling me not to waste food and resources, I better crack my brain to put it into better usage. As jiejie dun use it anymore, better put the potty into good use rather than letting it stay at home and take up space.

I noe Singapore is a clean and green country so I must be pro-recycling too. This is so useful for keeping my small small toys. Mummy said though it was clean thoroughly, still the idea of keeping toys in potty dun seem right. Well, I think she not open enuf lah, I'd say myself being innovative man....isn't there a store selling food in potty too in Taiwan? :p

Still she's not receptive to my idea and mummy got me this new storage space. (",)

15 Months Oredi....

Blink blink blink and I am 15 months oredi....(",)

I'm getting cuter and smarter each day and mummy is getting busier as I grow. I know how to climb up the pram on my own without anyone's help. This is essential in aiding me for my daily morning activity of glazing out of the window.

Mummy says I'm head-over-heels for BIRDIE...cos the 1st word I utter first thing in the morning is "BIRD". Hmmm...if i wanna go gai-gai, I'll say Bird. If I wanna look out of window, I'll say Bird. If I really see a bird, I get extremely excited over it.

I know how to say "Hot" and "Cold" as silly mummy let me experience this 2 extreme temperatures by touching the exterior of the bowls. Common words like "ball", "take", "open" etc are my daily dialogue with everyone at home. My new addition is "No more" with hand action. :)

Me think mummy loves my supervisory action most when I put my hands behind my back and walk. Well well, I'm not completely useless at home okay!!! I do help to throw my diapers since 10 months old and put away dirty clothing after bath. There must be some event coming right up cos the adults are busy preparing me to say "gong xi gong xi" with hand action some more. *shake head* Me so young oredi got to learn so many things.

GoonDoo Mummy!!!

I was rather angry with myself for buying the wrong milk powder flavor for Denz. HB and I were out buying groceries one night and I saw Pediasure having bundle promotion so we grabbed 2 sets. I were still happily telling HB abt the savings we could enjoy while queuing for payment...then happily stacking up the tins in the cupboard.

The opened tin was finishing leaving abt 2 scoops in it after I made the last feed for Denz the next day. I was kinda lazy to bring down a new tin from the cupboard for the midnight feed (YES, this boy still WAKES up for milk in the NIGHT...YAWN...) so juz went into the room with Denz putting him to bed. Sometimes it's juz too difficult to 'stay young' esp when ur body is getting old. I realised I get easily tired nowadays....maybe age is a factor *sob sob* @_@...Anyway I fell asleep immediately after putting Denz to sleep.

This boy woke up really early for his midnight feed and I was awoken by his thunderous screaming-like cries. I woke up panicky and quickly went to the kitchen to make milk. Darn...left 2 scoops of powder...so I climbed up the chair and brought down a tin of powder. I got a shock upon opening the new tin when I saw the powder was of a different color from usual. As I usually only switch on the light in the bathroom, the lighting is not bright enuf so I thot maybe the powder spoil liao but cannot be wat, new one leh, then a thot juz flashed and I went to check on the tin and realised "Premium Chocolate". Arghhh....siao liao loh, the 2 sets were all chocolate flavour. Damn it! I have ran out of the usual vanilla flavor and was worried that Denz might not be able to accept the new flavor. Phew! Luckily he blur blur finished the whole bottle of milk and went back to sleep. Well...who ask him to hv the genes from a family of chocolate lovers? It is no doubt that he will fall in love with the new flavor :p

*sigh* How can I be that muddle-minded to buy the wrong flavour? Wat's wrong with me?? I NEVER overlook such thing de. First time and I wanna make sure this is the last time. I wonder will the kids get too heaty after clearing all the tins in the cupboard??? I'm praying very hard none will get constipated. :(

Popiah Party

Mummy brought me to nai-nai's hse saying got some kind of party going on....Let me go kitchen check it out. Ye-ye kept saying this thing called popiah. Hmm....wonder wat's tat???

Nai-nai is bent on preparing her special 5-stars popiah after her fren gave her a buffet treat at some 5-stars hotel. This good fren of hers said the popiah served was superb. Of course nai-nai tried liao and think otherwise. She told her fren to hold her comments and wait till she tried hers. This has challenged nai-nai to prepare it on her own. :)

These are the necessary ingredients needed to make a Popiah. Look at our home-style DIY buffet counter!!!

Ye-ye was so excited over the popiah making and even requested to take photos. But then hor I think he got too gan cheong and got the sequence all wrong at his 1st attempt, kekeke :p

Whoa....looked kinda yummy leh. Can u make one without chilli and onion for me pls??? I oso wanna try leh. My doting ye-ye then scooped some turnip and egg on a saucer for me to go along with my porridge. Yippee...I gotto eat too. Hurray!!! I finished my porridge in a flash. (",)

Ye-ye savoring on his DIY popiah. So how does it fare?

Of course a thumb up for it lah. Ye-ye very smart de, he wouldn't want to end up being locked out of the house for not giving his honest comments. But seriously, the popiah taste really yummy else ye-ye wouldn't finish 6 rolls at one-go le. My mummy also can finish 4 rolls and more to come.....

A Meaningful Day

10th December is an important date as it is my good fren aka Karen's birthday. How can I not do anything for this special gal who has entered my life and created memories since 1991? Yeah, my sec sch classmate for all years, my 'helper' in doing my homework during school days, my telephone kaki, my promoter for beauty care products etc....If there is only one-word left to describe this friend, I'll choose the word "SINCERITY".

We spent the day by having breakfast together early in the morning. She has the intention for a hair makeover and oh well...I will 捨命陪君子吧! I have made prior arrangement and since there were still some more time to spare while waiting for the salon to open, we took some fotos of ourselves acting cute. :p

可愛いね?

My mind is set on doing rebonding but Karen is indecisive on whether to perm or to rebond. After much discussion with the hairstylist, she has decided to perm and cut her fringe short.

Our new looks were ready after 4 hours+ of torment with restricted movement. I have cut my fringe short too due to too many baby hair after the hairloss from child birth. Well, I'm pretty sure my mum wun like my fringe cos I purposely asked to cut it 'slant' to be more unique. Karen suits this new hairstyle. I think she looks grrreat in curls. I'm bad in managing curls. I believe she can do a better job than me. :)

We went to take foto at those 'neoprint' machine. *sigh* Perhaps we are really getting older, we took quite a while to figure it out what's available in the store and the price of taking neoprint has gone up tremendously till $11. We chose the cheapest $8 that comes with 2 cards. The whole process was kinda fast and blur but we both enjoyed. We thot it was a duplicate but when the cards came out then we realised oh it was different and we spent all the time decorating the 1st card leaving the 2nd card untouch. So kuku and we ended up laughing at our foolishness. :p

Okie doki....time for our famished stomachs. We went to Swensens as buff-day gal will get free ice-cream wor. Should I noe my fren is not a dessert lover, I'll not order my ice-cream. I surprised her by bringing in the pressies from the tai-tai club after bluffing her saying I need to go to the loo. The pressies were in my bag all these while.

We set off to Clarke Quay after dinner and went for K-session at Party World. This charbo is really a K-goer, juz merely few minutes the song list already hit up to 4 pages liao. We will be missing out Doris but one new member in the tai-tai club this time round...who else??? Jinhui loh, kekeke. Welcome to the club (",)

QQ was the last person to reach. Did u see the BK paperbag in her bag? Ya, that was her dinner that she has sneaked brought in. :p
