I've WON!!

Yesterday was Wenz' last day of school and each was given a Nov/Dec copy of Junior n U magazine. I was there to fetch her as I wasn't working. The 1st thing her teacher said to me was "What's ur son's name?". Then she told me Denz' foto was published.

Woohoo....which means I won something. Erm.... not I won is Denz won. :) Well, though not much, juz a $20 Mothercare voucher, but still I'm very happy. *wink wink*


Can u spot where is Denz? Not difficult to find right? I have actually submitted 2 entries, one for Wenz and one for Denz. It is oso Denz' maiden contest and he won. Sad to say that Wenz always never win anything even for past contest. Still wanna thank JnU and Mothercare.

14 Months loh....

14 months is gone and Denz is getting cuter each day with his added-on new skills and abilities to humor me and make my day each time he looks at me cheekily and put on his that sexy smile. :)

He is in the midst of learning to walk up and down steps. I have stacked up mattresses to achieve the different height effect to create steps for him to practice at home so that even if he trip and fall, he wouldn't be hurt. U juz gotto see that ya-ya & satisfaction look on his face whenever he managed to walk up and down without falling. He could practice for hours on his 1st day and if he felt tired, he will lie down and take a short rest then resume his usual practice.

His temperament became worse though. Besides cheeky, which is his main trait that makes him juz sooo cutez, his yelling and throwing of tantrum is something I dislike. He will cry if someone take away the thing that he is holding onto. Wenz always does that to make him cry. Such action is inevitable for a jealous sister. However, he loves hitting people and dun see him small small, his strength machiam like adult. Wenz became his victim in this case.

Denz is smarter when comes to food. He knows how to ask for food and I wonder if he is hungry or plain greedy cos he will say 'eat ah' everytime he sees TV ads and programs on food like Pizzahut, Mac, Buffet Buffet etc. He is also fond of peeking thru the safety gate to the kitchen and maintain eye contact with ah ma then say 'eat eat ah'. This is something I dun see from Wenz. When comes to feeding, he is tryjng to act smart too. My mum will feed him most of the time while I feed Wenz. With the same porridge in different bowls but he will point to mine asking for the food inside the bowl I was holding as he thot the one I fed Wenz must be tastier or different from his usual one. Act smart right? :p

14 months oredi so 'keng', I wonder what will he be up to next month? Nevertheless, he is one cute fella. Happy 14 months sonny! (",)

We Like to Move-It Move-It....

The theme for this year K2 graduation musical play is "The Wizard of Oz". All the participants for the play were busy rehearsing and trying to get things right while I was enjoying the soundtrack of Madagascar, one of the songs used in the play, till I know how to hum it......."I like to move-it move-it, He likes to move-it move-it, She likes to move-it move-it, We like to MOVE-IT." :)

The moment I reached, the 3 princesses were busy dolling up, mummy then quickly do up my hair, put on make up for me and teacher Cai Ning then added some glitter and shimmer to all the princesses' eyes.

I was all ready and posing a victory after grooving around with my ballet moves for Aunty Choo and Teacher Zhang to see. *face blushing*

It wasn't our turn for rehearsal so we juz gotto find some self-amusing and entertaining programs for ourselves to kill time while the mummies chatted away. (Sigh...the obvious trait of my talkative mummy)

Soon it was almost 6pm and also rest and makan time for the musical play participants. We had our rehearsal after they cleared the stage. We danced thrice and appeared confident. *shyless* Mummy gave every princess a lollipop after meal cos she knew all the princesses did not nap at all and it was about time for some fussiness and crankiness. Luckily the candies do come in handy as princesses' batt were flat. We need some glucose to power up badly. (me think I can use this excuse to eat candy next time when mummy says NOooo)

Soon it was about time for show-time and guests flocked in slowly and filled up the seats. My supporters aka Ah ma, Ye-ye, Nai-nai, Ben kor-kor and didi all came to watch me. I have got a Guest Appearance too.......*drum rolling* PAPA. Luckily papa's boss gave him off for the night so he was able to come watch me move-it move-it! Think must buy kopi for his boss to thank him liao. Mummy says must have good PR skill at work, maybe kopi nia is not enuf must add 2 more pieces of pratas as well. :p

We weren't nervous at all but dunno why Teacher Cai Ning and mummy look so kan cheong like going to shit the pants out of 'em when we were about to position ourselves on stage. Everything went on smoothly and the greatest effort of course goes out to Teacher Cai Ning. A big applause for her time, patience and dedication in coaching us. :)

After a minute of limelight, we made our way down the stage. We were really tired but of course happy. So nice to know that some of our freinds came to support us as well.

A tired ME KO right after leaving the venue and I insisted on sitting on didi's pram. Of course I have my reason for my persistence to sit on the pram lah....

The DAY has Come....

Today is the day I'm going on stage. Everyone is coming to watch me except papa who has to work night shift and gong-gong.

Mummy gets the Invitation card ready for ah ma to bring along juz in case. I'm going rehearsal now to polish up the last bit of flaws.

Sneak Preview of my Grrrrove

There is no school today due to the PTC but I gotto go for my rehearsal in school. Mummy send me right after attending the PTC earlier. I have been diligently practising since last week by staying back an hour after school for rehearsal. However, today is different. It's a 3 hours straight of practising. Though it's tiring, it's fun too!

Mummy came into the room to help as a parent volunteer an hour later, at the same time have a glimpse at the sneak preview of what we will be performing on stage on Friday.

Parent-Teacher-Conference (PTC)

Wenz' school term is coming to an end. Hb and I had juz went for the 2nd PTC session of this year. She will be promoted to Nursery class next year. I'm still procrastinating whether to appeal for a transfer of classes as most of her current classmates will be going to another class different from her. I shall make the decision next week when I go and buy her uniform.

Her overall performance in school was great with the exception of her behaviour. Her teacher, Karren highlighted that she has find her to portray a lil' behavioural problem as she doesn't admit her mistake when she was told of. She will look at her, ponder a while then break down.

As a mother's point of view, I fully agree what the teacher has mentioned but to my understanding of this gal, she will display such behaviour ONLY when she thinks she is not in the wrong else she will say "SORRY" willingly de. Of course I did not probe further wat has happened to her in school because a parent should have 100% trust in the teachers in school to be able to nurture and educate the young. I wouldn't like people to question my quality of work either. Guess Wenz will comprehend and learn the complexity of emotional Intelligence as she grows. Keep up the good work, Princess Wenz!! :)

The 4 Dancing Princess

Yippee......I am selected by my school to put up a Pre-Nursery item for the K2 Graduation Nite this coming Friday. Together with me were 3 other princesses from my class. We will be putting up a dance performance on stage specially scripted and directed by teacher Cai Ning.

Now let me proudly introduce the dancing princesses to u. *drum rolling*

The 1st Princess - Cassandra

The most petite among all but she is cheeky and bubbly.

A pretty missy, dreamy at times and playful too....Oh Yeah!

Cassandra and I will be wearing our usual ballet costumes while Chloe and Kaylen will be putting on ballet costumes specially bot for the event. The most exciting thing about this performance besides able to wear makeup is we will be able to put on our wings for our dance performance. Hooray.....I can continue to fulfill my dreams as a Butterfly Fairy once again..... :)

Finally....

I have been training Denz on straw way before he turned ONE and he juz simply couldn't suck from straw making me gotto feed him water by spoon. But how much can he drink from spoon? It would be better for him to drink from straw, isn't it?

I remembered Wenz knew how to drink from straw at around 8-9 months. I also know different children has different development milestones and I shouldn't be comparing. I have read on Judy's blog mentioning that his son also started sucking from straw at a late stage and now I can fully understand the kind of joy when Denz finally did it. :p

He also gets really excited when he realises how to drink from straw. However, there is a problem here as he is always spotted going around snatching Wenz' bottle whenever he sees it. Think it's time for me to get him a bottle too :)

Whose birthday's today???

Today is this lady aka monalisa-lookalike's birthday. Her birthday falls on the 3rd of Nov every year. Yes!! I noe her for a very long time liao, right in the 90s till now. She is not Monalisa. Hey frens, can u guess who is she?

This was really a rare occasion to gather 4 tai-tais to celebrate this fella's birthday on a weekday last week! Everything fell in plan and celebration went on smoothly. It has been a long long time since we last celebrated her birthday during school days. I'm glad everyone enjoy the day-out...

弟弟出Pattern

Happy initially cos he thot ho seh liao, me in stroller sure going gai gai liao...

Who noes we weren't going anywhere and he blew off his top....hmph

continues protesting and whining persists till he bloat like a balloon and face turn red.....

Still buay suah and continues yelling....really buay tahan his cries, be it real or fake....both are equally terrifying and irritating....

My fave description of didi now is "Dun see him a small boy, he is a very strong boy". You will witness this by seeing him throwing EVERYTHING in the play yard out. You can hear "piang", "piang", "piang" everyday till u will miss this sound if he decides to be good for a day. :p

Besides being strong physically, his lungs are really strong. His cries and yells are deafening, definitely not something that is pleasant to your ears. Hb ever said, if he was given a scale of 10 to rate, he will give him a 9 right away. I noe he is kind enuf liao as I'd give 10 without any hesitation.

Other than his cries, he is actually a darling and angel at most time. I always couldn't refrain from kissing his cheeks, not bcos he is chubby but he simply has the lovable and kissable face :p
