High on Syrups

Saw the few bottles? Darn....Wenz was unwell and down with sickness. Pink for fever, clear one for phlegm, black for cough, green for flu and cherry is the antibiotic to clear her infection and resume her immunity back to normal status.

Hope she will get well soon.

Brought Wenz to the East Coast Park on Saturday for cycling and BBQ-ing as arranged by our fotang's committee.

Princess enjoyed herself especially when I cycled her around on the bicycle. My dad was busy setting up the flame on the BBQ pit and mum busy getting the food ready for BBQ.

Everyone appears busy and occupied with activities. The adults busy with eating and the children busy with playing. :p

Didi was busy with sleeping and ah ma attended to him after his beauty nap. He didn't drink much though cos he wanna savor the adults' foodie as well. His intention was soon proven after he ate lotsa my food.

As the night progressed, didi got really high and was in super good spirit. He was smiling n laughing away all night long while trying very hard to get us to play wif him.

Wenz was happy too but we didn't stay for long as it started drizzing shortly after i have returned the bicycle. The kids enjoyed for sure and I enjoyed too. It has been years since my last BBQ session with frens. :)

10 Months Old

Today is didi's 304th day on Planet Earth and he is still as cheery as you could see on the pic. He knows how to put his hands together and clap when u ask him to do so, he could pick up small objects using thumb-index grasping skill pretty well, he crawls in a lightning speed, he displays strong interest on walking, he could take few steps in his playpen but when comes to the real ground he is quite cautious about it and one major discovery is he likes to play with his penis.....Yes, esp when he is naked before or after bath time. I wonder if boys are lidat cos my colleague told me this is pretty normal. Guess I gotto get use to it, hahaha :)

Look at his smile, don't he look cute? Ya this is the time he is most fun to play with but if he decide to throw his highness temper or fake out those irritating cries, you really hope you have the best earphones stuck right in your ears.

Didi for the 1st time received "corporal punishment" from hubby on this fateful day. Really No Joke, CANED on his butt. Got a shock too when I heard this cos feel that he is kinda too young or should I say too small to be caned. This happened when I wasn't at home. Heard from my mum, he was being caned partly bcos of Wenz. All I knew was hubby couldn't tahan his whining and 'grumbling' so he scolded him initially and hb went off to his room. However, didi has already awakened this 'dormant volcano' and this volcano has decided to turn to an active one. So juz when he has cooled down and pacified, in fact was playing happily with ah ma naked as he had juz finish his shower, hb came to him with a cane and swing a few strokes onto his butt. How sad for him!! Well, children will forget easily cos didi seems happy when I got home.

Nvm, he juz have to get use to the harsh world anyway. Be tough my boy. Mummy loves you and I do feel pain in the heart. You outta learn to adapt and deal with different emotions too. Happy 10 months old!!

Ah Ma's Birthday

Time passes by so fast. I remembered ah ma celebrated her 60th Big Birthday last year when didi wasn't out yet and now we are celebrating ah ma's cheena birthday again with didi around of course.

See! How can we miss out this fella? So inpatient waiting for food to be served. Didi was like a worm, couldn't sit still without food in front of him or something interesting to distract him.

The dinner was delicious and everyone was busy filling their tummy which explain why there wasn't any photos of the food. :p

I love the cake-cutting moment the most as usual and look at the cake......looks yummy isn't it? Mummy ordered a Tiramisu cake this time round as it was papa and mummy's fave. Hmm.....strange....how come didn't order ah ma's fave instead? :)

Anyway, the cake was fantastic. It was simply delicious and I even asked for more. My expression should convince you that the cake was yummy isn't it? Not only me, didi enjoyed too.

The night past so fast with all those yummy food and cake. Oops, gotto wish ah ma Happy Birthday before I forget.

Happy Birthday to ah ma. No present though, think I should be able to make u a card next year. I could only give ah ma my kiss as pressie this year. Hope you enjoy ur night.

Lotz of Lollipopz

These are what I got for Wenz after I received my mid-year bonus. Sweet treats isn't it? Mummy has searched locally for mini Chupa Chups but they aren't very easy to find. So there was this one day that I saw mummy searching for mini Chupa Chups on Ebay. Being a guru of Ebay (like real), I purchased these from a UK seller for approximately S$40 (including shipping). It was probably not economical but it's definitely Wenz' top ten wish list items. A total of 70 mini Chupa Chups for Wenz to eat till her baby teeth drop. Ha! Ha!

Oops! I have overlooked the aspect of healthy eating. Let mummy see to it then. I'm sure kiasu mummy will give in moderation.

Let's Get Wet....Splash!

It was a long long time ago since I had my last dip in the pool. Mummy has promised to bring me to the pool everytime she bathe me during the weekend but somewhat never see to light. Think she has some plan in mind and brought me to the pool yesterday and coincidently was a fine weather too as it wasn't too hot. In fact there was overcast in the sky but still we proceeded.


Didi gotto go as well else he will be complaining to ah ma till we come home. He could be really grumpy nowadays when comes to fighting for his rights. :p

I'm one enthu fella and all geared up ready to set off but look at didi, that sian sian expression!!! Guess he think he wouldn't have a chance to go into the water.


I can't wait any longer and kept pacing up and down while waiting for mummy and papa to get changed. Finally mummy was ready and she brought me down the children's pool 1st while waiting for my slow coach papa to join us.

I was a little scare at first cos mummy is well-known for her "No-License" de. She couldn't swim well okay. Papa is the swimmer who goes swimming weekly. Think I better wait for papa to put me down the slide.

Thus mummy off to prepare didi for his fair chance of water-playing. As u all know he is a chicken boy so it is of no surprise for didi to feel takut initially when mummy put him down into the water. He tried to cling on tightly to mummy. However, he got comfortable after a while of warming up and he enjoyed kicking the water with the neck float around him.

Didi didn't stay in the pool for long as he haven't had his morning breakfast. Mummy bathed him first and soon after it was mine turn as Mr Sun has disappeared totally. Well, I could only obliged. True enuf, the moment I stepped out of the pool, it started drizzling. Hmmm.., I'll definitely pester mummy to bring me back for more dips. Hiakz :)

The Night Zoo

Of course I know the night zoo is called the Night Safari but this is the term we made known to Wenz as she still dunno the meaning of SAFARI. Hb's company has a family day promo for the tickets payable at $6 each inclusive of tram ride and $4 F&B vouchers. Isn't that a steal? Hb bot 2 tixs and we brought Wenz to the night zoo yesterday night. Luckily my bro gave us a ride there after dinner at our house and we managed to reached at their opening hour at 7.30pm.

Wenz was thrilled. It was a new and great experience for the 3 of us as we have never been there before too. Gal was so happy looking at the big big fishes outside the ....erm....not so glam...toilet, hahahaha :)

We took the tram right after entering into the premises. I'd say the ride was great too. 7.30pm is the best time to reach cos when we were on the tram, we could see all animals at every stop coming out for their dinner.

Right after the ride, we went for the safari show. There were only 2 time slots scheduled at 8.30pm and 9.30pm. The show was entertaining showing all the nocturnal animals. We were greeted by howling wolves at the start of the show making Wenz so scared as she could co-relate to the story "The wolf and the seven little kids" that I used to tell her.

It was also my 1st time seeing a night owl. Initially I was told an owl's neck is very very flexible and could turn 360 degress. It was only until this show then I got the fact right that owl only turn 270 degress. Silly me :)

All of us enjoyed watching and this gal was lucky enuf as she was given a wooden fan by a tourist. He found her so adorable I think. Gal of course happy like a bird and began playing with it. The overall experience there was fabulous but it will be too costly to visit if we pay the full fare which will be $32 per adult with tram ride. So ex right?

We waited for the crowd to disperse before making our way out. Seriously I think the ground holding the show couldn't accomodate all the visitors, somemore with only 2 time slots.

The crowd waiting for the next show was a lot. Luckily we reached early and watched earlier too. We then slowly make our way out to the exit and shop around to see if anything is unique and interesting.

My goodness....the souvenirs were so pricey. But it looks nice. Gal was trying on an elephant hat. After which, we make our way to Ben & Jerry for ice-cream to fully utilise our $8 F&B vouchers before heading home. Sorry no pics of the ice-cream as all was busy eating and slurping away. :p

New Haircut for 2

Brought the 2 kiddos for a haircut over the weekend as their hair were getting longer. Wenz had a dora hairstyle as usual, just in time for new term. Denz' hairstyle reminds me of my hb, hurhurhur, looks so much like my ah lao, Dennis junior. :)Denz has problem sitting still and down for long period. Guess we might have a problem making him cut hair next time. He dun cry though, only shows impatience in waiting for his hair to be ready. What an impatience child!

Denz has a new nickname given by hb. Make a guess........It's CHICKEN BOY. I had a good laugh upon hearing it but it kinda suit him too. Hub calls him that not bcos Denz loves chicken, is bcos he's timid. Little bit little bit he will cry, cannot see people around also cry, somemore his crying is as loud as thunder. Well, all children has different nature and character that makes every kid unique in their own way. Whatever it is, Denz will always be my precious gem. I'm still procrastinating whether to celebrate his 1st birthday or not, most likely will be a close relatives and frens home affair type of celebration.
